Saint Marianne Cope, Mother of Outcasts
On December 19, 2011 we received the joyous news that His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI, concurred with the decision of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints, and will formally introduce Mother Marianne as Saint Marianne Cope at a Mass of Canonization October 21, 2012 at the Vatican. This means that she is worthy of veneration by the Church universal and her feast day, January 23rd, will be celebrated throughout the Church.
